It's a combined-cycle power plant. A combined-cycle power plant uses both a gas and a steam turbine together to produce up to 50% more electricity from the same fuel than a traditional simple-cycle plant. Here both the Brayton cycle and Rankine cycle are used. HRSG captures the exhaust gas from the gas turbine and creates steam from the gas turbine exhaust heat and delivers it to the steam turbine. The steam rotates turbine blades, and power is produced. That's why the efficiency of this power plant is higher than that of a simple cycle power plant. The efficiency of this power plant is approximately 56%. In this power plant there is a gas turbine, a heat removal steam generator, and a steam generator.
